HI,,,,,, put tie on,,,, small side on left, big side right,, right a longer around the neck, take right over left,, around up and under the neck, and thru the loop,, and tighten to suit yourself….
Once he does it a few times it will come back to him,,,,,

For males and females wear the tie with the neck of the shirt unbuttoned and the tie around the neck. A woman may wear the tie as a belt with pants or jeans. May be use as a belt to a house coat/robe.

A black shirt would go with anything as long as the suit wasn’t navy blue. As would white so either of those colours would look ok.

Best advice, as you haven’t got a picture of the suit. Take the trousers of the suit with you when you shop and place ties next to them to compare colours and see what looks best.

I doubt polyester holding dye…………it needs more cotton in it………..Hey I know……………..spray paint the tie,,,,,,,,,may take 2 coats………

There are a couple ways to do it. The easiest is take the skinny end put it about six inches below your collar. wrap the fat end around the skinny end twice. Then pull the fat end through the opening near your collar. Now put the fat end through the second loop you made when wrapping it at first. Pull it through and check for length. If it is too long or too short adjust the starting point of the skinny end and start over. It should end at about belt level.

ok chocolate brown shirt with gold tie looks great and will compliment your outfit ‘or’ a beige shirt with either the gold or orange tie – ask him to try a few different combinations and see which one looks best – have a very special day xx
